Dear collegues,
what do you say to your pupils when you want them to go back to their seats, after a game or an activity in which they were free to go round the classroom? "Go back to your ...????"
Thanks!

You can say a number of things such as:
- You may go back to your seats (desk) now
- Please go back to your seats (desk)
- Let s go back to our seats (desk) now

Hello,
I use "Please take your seats"..
I Personally find a bit rude the phrase "Go back to your seat"

With very young children, with very limited English knowledge, I just say "Sit down".
When I was teaching (not ESL) teenagers, I would say something like "Can everyone go back to their seat now, please." |
