I �d like to know if it correct to use " Tidy up the classroom" before the children leave the room.

Yes, that �s fine but "Can you please tidy up the classroom before you leave?" is a bit more polite :0)

Tidy up the classroom is correct and you can also add � �please � � to make it more polite. It �s just the way you say which makes it polite even without the word please.

 
I always say.....ok, guys it �s time clean up and don �t forget to help each other.
