Please tell me about a new way to explain the past simple to students in grade2. I want to introduce it through a funny and different way. Thanks Thumbs Up

I think you can make it through a nice game and you can find that in all the game sheets on this site. Just write past simple in your search and you ll find a large number of creative ideas. Hope any of those would be useful.
Have a nice day Smile

I know I just wanna a different introduction . I used to play games after the explanation.I guess this will be more fun but the intro of the lesson is what I think more important.

Ok you can play with them (Hang man) for the title of the lesson "Past Simple". I think it may be a good intro...!

the dinosaur topic is great.
You can give them a short story about a dino in past simple + questions.

play a game - you say the sentence/verb in present simple and  throw a ball and the student repeats in past simple

correct the mistake ex - few facts about dinosaurs but the verbs would be incorrect/mingled

dinosaur boardgame - Past simple BOARDGAME
animal resource bank: ANIMAL RESOURCE BANK - 73 games
dino + colurs + numbers: DINOSAURS.colors and numbers one to ten
Dinosaur Alphabet Stepping Stones 1
