WOD winner - ´gong farmer ´

Quality, not quantity, was the watchword for this WOD which makes a choice so damned difficult. It s made easier, however, if I apply my own special criteria, so:

Douglas is automatically excluded because he passed the baton (or bong Wacko).
Les is disqualified because he s always winning these things.
Eleonora doesn t win because, until now, I didn t know that twangy was also a noun.
Linda is eliminated for inventing a dentally-challenged participle.
Sophia loses for suggesting that I made the expression up. (see below)

That leaves Ed as the winner with his fragrant combination of gourd and bs - which brings us nicely to the real meaning of gong farmer:

A GONG FARMER  (or gongfermour) is used to describe "someone who dug out and removed human excrement from privies and cesspits".

Some of your younger students might enjoy CBBC s game of the same name:

Hey! Isnt necessity the mother of invention?! I needed a dentally challenged participle so I made one up. Isnt that what Facebook and Twitter do all the time?! LOL
