I worked for Honeywell Aerospace for 31 years and we had to go through"a workforce reduction" or "a reduction in workforce" just about every 1 for the past 10 years.  That is the latest buzz word in the industry.   Do a search on the internet and you will see.  Add plan behind it and you will also see what you are looking for.
