iīm starting a new school year next week...im gonna work with teenagers...the school is small so I know every student but I still feel insecure and i dont have any idea about how to face the first day. CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ANY ADVICE ABOUT WHAT TO DO THE FIRST WEEK ?????

Try to start out with a good icebreaker. Get to know your students and learn some of their interests right off the bat. Also, think about how you īll motivate them and the classroom rules. If you start off right, your lessons from then on will be much smoother. First impressions are everything!

I like to have a chat with them about their experience with English, their expectations. what they like best and what they hate. While doing so I get to know each of them and their knowledge of English  (if they do not say, I usually ask). Thatīs the moment I explain the way we will work and what I expect...

Speaking, listening to them, showing interest and your wish to help them overcome difficulties, improve makes the way easier to demand from them afterward.
