I need help with this question: A: I have been repairing this car for two months. B: It should have been finished by now. A: It can �t be. The correct answer is b)
another two/ three/ ten etc means an additional amount of number
EX.: I �m not ready. I need another five minutes |

We can �t use "another" before"5 minutes". Another is used only with singular nouns.
The right variant should be "I need 5 minutes more".

Sorry, Julia, but Lana �s example is fine. Not only do I have no problem with it, but neither does Michael Swan: "plural expressions of quantity can be used with another" (Practical English Usage). |

Well, assuming that it was copied wrong since "I need for..." can �t go with any of the options, I �d have to say option "b" is the correct one.

This conversation would sound better:
A: I have been repairing this car for two months.
B: It should have been finished by now.
A: Well, it isn �t. I need ......another................. three months to repair it.
or
I need it for another three months.
