relative cluses

Hi everyone!

I have three doubts. i hope you can help me.

1- In the sentence:
Self-employment is an escape route to a saturated market. This is the option of many young graduates.

Would you transform it into a non-defining relative clause or into a sentential relative clause?

Self-employment is an escape route to a saturated market, which is the option of many young graduates. (sentential)
or
Self-employment, which is the option of many graduates, is a escape route to a saturated market. (non-defining)

2- I normally say "the less the compensation" but can we also say "the littler the compensation"?

3- Can we use the word "once" as a conjunction?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I d pick the relative clause option for question 1. For 2, I d definitely say "the less..." and for 3, "once" is an adverb, not a conjunction - it does not unify two independent sentences.

One correction: once can be used as a conjunction.
