Spanish translation help needed - Mutua

Hi, one of my students was telling me her friend works for a mutua de accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades. How can that be neatly put into English? Any ideas? Are there these kinds of companies/services in the UK? Thanks

Hi Colibrita!
It s actually mutual, with L. It s more or less what people call insurance companies.

Dear Colibrita,
A mutua de accidentes y trabajo is an insurance company covering accidents and/or diseases workers may have while working for a company. I would say that it is an Insurance for Workers.
Hope you fins it useful.
P.S.: Marilan in Spain it is said mutua not mutual
Thanks. |
