I NEED HELP

Hello everyone:

I need some help.  While I was preparing worksheet
I ran into a bit of a problem.  Originally, I had wanted to include
a black and white version of this printabale on the same  sheet.
When I tried to do this I kept getting a coloured background and a frame.
I tried to erase the coloured background but it erased the backgound on all the pages.
I would like to know if on a worksheet there is a way of having a
few pages with frames and colours and a few pages in the same
worksheet which are black and white.  Today, I am uploading the
same worksheet in black and white for people who do not have
coloured printers because I was unable to include this in my
worksheet yesterday.  Is there a solution to this?
I need your help in order to avoid sending double worksheets.

If you find  a solution I will be very happy to know it! I hate when in word you want a border but it has to then be for all pages! I would love it if word had more publisher like features!

Well, heres a couple of ideas!!!

If you are using Word 2003 please read the following site:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA012191711033.aspx

Go straight to the section on Word & it will explain the difference between watermarks & background & how to use them both.

Essentially backgrounds were originally for web pages & watermarks for print. It may be worthwhile using watermarks utilising the header & footer approach noted in the article - its the only way I know of to change the background image or colour from one page to the next in a Word document (unless you are inserting a picture to use as a background, then the process is a little different).

If you are using a different version of Word please let me know & Ill try to find some relevant info.

For borders you can make changes using the drop down menu in the border formatting:

Just have a play with the options & youll soon find out which one suits your requirements.

Feel free to message me if I can help further.

Cheers, ab
