Hi, everyone!!! I need fresh ideas to include in a class I need to teach about American idioms, you know...besides the conventional: role plays, dictations, dialogues, what else can I do? Any creative idea?? Thanks a lot!!! |

I don t know their ages, but you could have them write a rap song.
Break them into groups and give each group one idiom per person. The group then writes a rap (hip hop) song where each verse involves (uses) a separate idiom. The groups can then get up and sing their song (one verse per student).
Wouldnt be bad if you had some background beat music or you could have the rest of the class keep the beat. |
