Hello, yesterday a pupil asked me a question I just couldn t answer: why is there a capital letter at the first-person singular pronoun ( I and not i ) ?
Could you help me, please ?

because you are important !!! important = capital letter !
imagine using a small letter !
you would lose it in your sentence ! this is how I explain it to my kids !
