Dear ESL Teachers,

Writing is an important part of the course I �m teaching. Yet, my students don �t seem interested in writing. They don �t exert any effort to learn from mistakes or to be creative. I �m asking for any teacher who experienced the same problem : how can I make my students interested? And what kinds of exercises can I use to improve the below level students? Note that my students are asked to write articles and they are grades 8 and 9.
