What s the difference between saying "I have got a car, and I have gotten a car"?

"have got" is just another way (mostly British) of saying "have", so "I have got a car" is talking about possession.

"I have gotten a car" means the same as "I have obtained a car", so it s talking about the process of obtaining it. Also, we re much more likely to say "I have bought a car" (unless we obtained it by another means).
