I am starting an extra English course for my students, and I d like to change the postion of the desks in the classroom... we have the traditonal pattern: teacher s desk in front of the student s desks, I d like to change them giving a " cosier" atmosphere to the classroom... Any ideas?

well you could organize the classroom in round table, or in a circle. including your seat. every body can see as well, |

I think you have to consider the number of students, their age and the space available in your class. Personally like Douglas I prefer the U shape or semi circles. Here are some more articles  that may give you ideas.
