Making beautiful worksheets

For a while now Ive been using this site and how greatful I am for it too.

My question or query is, ive been making worksheets and powerpoints for this site and would love to create a lot more.
I am just curious and interested in how people manage to get a big notbook on their worksheets or how do the manage to get pretty pictures too?

The same goes for powerpoints how do some people manage to make pictures or words or even have lines come onto their pictures in their powerpoints.

If anyone has any tips or ideas to help me i would be very grateful

Thanks

Sean

Hi Flynny!

Some members use templates and tutorials of this web page to help them create more appealing ws or ppts.

To answer your second question: you have to google sites where pictures can be used for educational purposes only.

take a look at this thread:

http://www.eslprintables.com/forum/topic.asp?id=32160

http://www.eslprintables.com/forum/topic.asp?id=31426

and also from Philip Martin s site: http://www.phillipmartin.info/clipart/homepage.htm

hope this helps

Please note that the watermarked pictures are not allowed at eslprintables. A watermark is a white symbol in the middle of a clipart to indicate the inicials of the website where the pictures are sold.

Thanks for that.

Im Aware that many people use the Philip Martin site and he is cool for letting people use his images for educational purposes.

What id like help in is making worksheets look appealing. I can find the pictures and stuff no problem, its the building of i.e patterns in the back ground and getting boxes where i need them and borders where i need them ect.

As I said before even the simple notebook worksheet looks appealing but i cant seem to find that or find out how to maybe add  this to a word document.

Im sorry for being such a fool, Im not the brightest when it comes to computers and kind of wish i had doen a little course or something with microsoft word before I went travelling hahaha

Anyway again thanks for your help

PS: If you want to learn HOW TO make a notebook design, ungroup all the components (rightclick - ungroup) - you will be able to move the textboxes and autoshapes. You will see that the template consists of simple autoshapes and textboxes only... It is not complicated...
