Animated Gif?

Hi everyone,

Can somebody tell me whether we are allowed to use animated images or not?

I assume you mean for Power Point presentations, since animation doesn t print well on worksheets. Sure, you can use animation as long as it abides by the rules for still pictures (no iclipart, no watermarks, no pictures from other ESL sources, no single flashcards, etc.). The presentation itself must be .ppt (Power Point 97-2003), not .pptx (2007 or 2010); save it as 97-2003 before you submit if you have a later version. It also has to be 2MB or less. That s why you don t see so much animation here; moving pictures are memory hogs.
