hello, dear colleagues I need your help

Imagine this active sentence: "They said that Tony played cards". When turning it into the passive, what would you say?
"Tony was said to play cards" or "Tony was said to have played cards" ?

Hi, Maybe you have to do the passive of what they reported, I mean, They said that cards were played by Tony or they said that cards were played. I hope help you, let know! bye!
