I need some help. Is is possible that in the menu we can see written just lettuce instead of green salad?

Yes. Lots of British people talk about lettuce rather than "green salad". |

Maybe in a restaurant that is frequented by many models, where they really do serve lettuce on it �s own I myself have only ever seen �green salad �, and lettuce written as an ingredient. |

But have you seen "lettuce" written as a menu item, rather than an ingerdient in a salad? Here in the US it doesn �t happen.

If I saw �lettuce � on a menu, I �d think they were having a laugh. It �s green salad. I �d never order it, either way. Why would anybody bother chewing something like that? |
