Good evening teachers from the UK :)
I teach children in Poland about the UK and I ve got a little problem. I don t understand the flag change in the palace. Can you help me?
When the Queen is in Buckingham Palace, there is the Royal Standard above it. When the Queen is away, there is the Union Jack flowing. Am I right?
And can the Royal Stardard be flown at half-mast? The Union Jack must be flown at half-mast while mourning time, mustn t it?
On the Net, there is some contradictory information.
Thank you in advance :)

Oh, and the flag is "flying" not "flowing".
