I want to ask a student about the book that I have lent to him. I know that he hasn t read the whole book so can I ask: How many pages have you read? Where are you in the book?

How long are you in the book - is incorrect, isn t it?

Yes, it is! Have you seen the movie Ink heart? That s the only way to be IN or OUT of a book.

How many pages have you read?
How much have you read?
How far have you read?
How far into the book are you?

Where are you up to?

What chapter are you up to?

Which part are you up to?
Which bit are you up to?

How long are you in the book
