a song at the end of the school year

hello dear fellows,
I have a group of young children (aged 10-11) and I want them to sing an english song at the end of the school year. I want something fun and at the same time easy for them to remember. Something fun "fresh" and up to date... any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance for your suggestions...

Hi,
I m already analyzing your suggestions

Sophia, "up to date" in this case means something that they ll instantly love because they recognise it from the radios... (that was my meaning here...)

Sorry for any doubts you had with that expression...I Know that wasnt the most properly word but it was the only I could think about at that time.

had no problems with the expression whatsoever:)
What I did doubt was my suggestion as I thought it would meet the easy- to- understand requirement of your request but I wasn t sure it was up to date:)
IMHO top hits arent appropriate for 10-11- year-olds:)
My personal choice would be Summer Holiday by Cliff Richards (yeah, I know some of you will call it geriatric) btw my 8th graders loved it:)
