question

One thing has been nagging me for a couple of days now. Imagine that you have a pile of soil in your garden that needs to be taken care of and carried to other parts in the garden. Can you say in English that you carry the soil around in a wheelbarrow? Somehow it doesn t sound right to me ...

I m sure that s OK - you would indeed move the soil with a wheelbarrow, or spread it out, using a wheelbarrow.

Spread out - this is the verb that fits best in the context. Thank you very much Cunliffe  !
