Would you help me, please?

Could any of the wonderful teachers that speak Portuguese help me to traslate this into English? " que o casal seja um para o outro de alma e coracao" . I thought about:
" May the couple be ( like?) soul and heart to each other". Does it sound English? Does it make sense?

I thought of something like:
May the couple be there for each other with their heart and soul.
I think it makes sense, or at least that is what I understand from the sentence.
Hope it helps,
Smadar

From Smadar s translation-as a native I would say:

May the couple be there for each other in heart and soul.

May this couple be as one heart and soul.

May these two be each other s heart and soul.

May each be the other s heart and soul.

All the suggestions are good, but I think zoe s are a little better.
