bike park rack

Imagine an outdoor bike parking rack in front of a building. Having cycled to school and just before getting into the school building  I park my bicycle.
Is it correct to use the word "park" in that context?

I just call it a "bike rack"; however, "bike parking rack" is also correct.
("Bike rack" can also refer to racks for carrying bikes on vehicles)

I might say park  or  if  chained it.   Say I chained my bike and went to work.
Interesting  question.   I will google bike parking rack and  see what I get.
