Hi,
Get them to draw a diary and fill it in for next week with lots of activities (sport &
cultural). Then either put them in pairs
or small groups or simple work together if the class is not too big choose one
person to be questioned (student 2):
This
exercise is more for present continuous (for the future) and will
Example:
Student 1:
What are you doing on Saturday afternoon?
Student 2:
Im playing tennis with my sister.
Student 3:
What if it rains, whatll you do then?
Student 2:
Oh.., well go to the cinema.
Student 4:
What if the cinema is closed, whatll you do then?
Student 2:
Oh.., well go home and play video games?
Student 5:
What if theres a power cut, whatll you do then?
etc, etc, etc
My students
have always loved this game and youd be surprised at what they invent!!
Have fun,
Janet
