2-   Ask me what my favorite memory of childhood is

b)   What is your attitude toward marriage ?

1-   Please ask me what is my attitude toward marriage

2-   Please ask me what my attitude toward marriage is

c )   Who is the most annoying person you know?

1-   Ask me who is the most annoying person I know.

2-   Ask me who the most  annoying person I know is

d)   Who is your sister going out with?

1-   Ask me   who is my sister going out with ?

2-   Ask me  who my sister is going out with

If possible I would like to have a grammatical explanation so as to teach my ss. Any help will be appreciated

Thanks in advance.

a) What is your favourite childhood memory?
Ask me what my favourite childhood memory is.

b) What is your attitude toward marriage?
Ask me what my attitude toward marriage is.

c) Who is the most annoying person you know?
Ask me who the most annoying person I know is.

d) Who is your sister going out with?
Ask me who my sister is going out with.

I prefer childhood memory rather than memory of childhood.

Its the correct word order. Its like reported speech.

Direct speech, What is your attitude toward marriage?

Reported speech : She asked me what my attitude toward  marriage was.

So in the present tense we use Ask me what my attitude toward marriage is.

Maybe someone has a better explanation.

Yes. It s reported speech. All the answers have to do with reported questions, which have common grammatical features:
1. They never end in question mark
2. The word order is :subject, verb
3. As they aren t proper questions, auxilary verbs cannot be used.
