I agree with you, Linda!
Asking for levaing thank you is rude!

I think once again the main issue was lost down the way....

What I defend personally is a question of education, of good manners, courtesy...
We take something, we say thank you. And we mean it...
Its as simple as that. As basic as that.

I am not asking anyone to leave a thank you note on my worksheets. I could never do that! A thank you note without meaning would be worse than nothing at all.

What I am asking is that you give it some thought. Some people have said here how important this  is for them, so I think you could at least sleep on it. Thats it! Nothing else! The decision is always yours!
Cmon guys, dont complicate what is simple.

Enjoy your weekend.

The Insistence

Again, this comes down to fundamental difference in opinion/personal philosophy.

Feel free to state Dont be rude, leave a thank you - just do not lecture anyone on morality. Your opinion is just that - your opinion. An insistence also implies you have some substance in a disciplinary way to back up your assertion. Insistence is the first step to fascism. It says that your own morality (& I dislike you linking education to morality - I dont know of anything that could support that statement) is superior to everyone else. Who are you to judge?

Cheers,
the Resistance
