I dont know which grade
but some mixed ideas are
reading literture work and present to the group
writing poems based on eg my mom is like a cup each one writes and share
watch a movie based on a story and discuss
writing to the author of a magazine
weekly blog
role play what they read and maybe calll in parents of members or other(classmates--students of other schools etc)

Another idea is to start n english club insted of a literature one .Then you could have story reading- presentations -computer skills- debates on subjects-story writing skills etc. |
