Sorry, but it �s not clear. What do you mean exactly by saying "teach the function surprise" ???I guess it �s about surprise situations in real life, isn �t it? Role-plays can be really helpful. I have made up two dialogues :)) You can develop them or make up different ones, too.
E.g. A: Hello, Jane ! How are you, honey ?
B: Oh, uncle John ! You are back. What a nice surprise! Welcome.
A: Thanks, honey. How nice to see you.
(You can also use Turkish characters)
A: Happy Birthday Sally ! Happy Birthday to you ! (A group of students)
B: What a big surprise! Thank you very much.
