hi.
what do you call these electronic devices that you can use to know who is at the door when sb rings the bell.I mean the ones which are like a telephone, specially used in flats where you cant get the door in person!!

I think it �s usually called an intercom. Once you know who it is, you press the buzzer to let them in. This is often called "buzzing them in".
