I ve never heard the expression "jadetrucker" before, veronika, and I m a native USA English speaker. Sorry.

There certainly isn t enough jade transported in our country to warrant a special profession for doing it. A google search yields nothing, and it s not at  http://www.urbandictionary.com, so the term doesn t seem to exist. Where did you hear of it, Veronika?

Hi Bruce,

I started to correspond with somebody from the Usa. He wrote that he is/was a trucker and he used this term, jadetrucker . As both parts of the word have several meanings I m a bit confused. Maybe he is a tired truck driver or old truck driver or jade transporter or some kind of gardener. :-)

A jaded trucker is someone who is bored with his job as a trucker. Perhaps it was a misspelling & he meant to write it as two words.

If "jadetrucker" is his screen name, it could be something particular to him. My screen name "yanogator" is a combination of half of my last name and an animal. It is a nickname that was given to me in high school to differentiate me from my older brother, who was known as "yanobear".
