Hello! everybody: Need your help again:
a little bit confused  : Do we say :
 I didn �t see your call because my mobile was on/in/at silence mode if not what do we say in this case!

I asked my sons and my husband and the response was variable, some said �I prefer in, but on is OK � and others said  the opposite! Sorry not to be more helpful! I guess the language of mobiles is still in development.

I would say "in silent mode" (not silence mode) or "on silent".
