Fur is the skin of an animal that has the soft hair still attached, such as mink, fox, rabbit, or chinchilla. Leather is the thick, treated skin, without hair, from an animal. Animal rights organizations don �t like people to wear fur or leather because you have to kill the animal. They dislike fur more because usually the animal is killed only for the fur, but most leather comes from animals that are killed also for meat, like cows, pigs, or goats. Hope that helps! |
