Par: getting a golf ball in the hole in the prescribed number of strokes

Simon: pro golfer Simon Dyson

-ious: suffix changing a noun into an adjective, like or in the fashion

So, parsimonious means getting as many holes in golf at par as pro Simon Dyson.

Misspelling for PARSIMIOUS a kind of ape related with the Yeti snowman.

The parsimious habitat is the city parks where he can sit the whole day on a bench as a good lazybones he is. His slow motion movements are remarkable too. Scientists report that a snail could overtake a parsimious without any problem due to how slowly the parsimious runs.

PARSIMONIOUS

Some people think that Parsimonious is an adjective meaning very, very unwilling to spend money --- stingy; tight-fisted; usually the result of extreme poverty.  This is NOT the meaning!

Parsimonious = Pars im on ious

It is a code-word, used by Gamblers Anonymous, for Members who wish to text their priest, pastor, or PARSON, asking for help.  They have no money left after gambling, so when they buy something, they give the Seller a Credit Note, which says: I Owe You 10 (for example).  This is called an IOU.

Parsimonious = Parson, Im on IOUs.

JOKE

My husband has gone to a Casino in the Himalayas.

Tibet?

Of course!  Hell travel anywhere to gamble.

To parse is to analyse a text closely and in depth, of course. People born under the sign of Virgo go in for this quite a lot, it sends them into a kind of rapture. However, it bores the other eleven signs of the zodiac. Harmonious is a lovely word. When we combine the two, parse and harmonious we arrive at parsimonious . Thus, the word describes a Virgoan concentrating on the minutiae of sentence structure, when he is a very happy Virgoan indeed. When it comes to a Virgoan analysing his wife s credit card bill, as they always do, they can become quite parsifurious.
