							| Tall Tales from Spain
 |
							| Hi there,   I am planning out my fourth grade curriculum.  In English, we ll be talking about the US and its folk tale tradition, featuring the story of Paul Bunyan.   In Social Studies, we are looking maps and focusing on Spain.  I would like to tie Social Studies and English together by comparing a Spanish folk tale with that of Paul Bunyan.   Any suggestions?
 Many thanks,

							| Esther,    "La castaera" o "Garbancito" are two traditional spanish folk tales.     Hope it works for you.    eva | 5 Feb 2013

							| Maybe "Gustavo Adolfo Becquer s" tales are difficult, but they re most of the best ones in Spain. For example, this is traditional and famous:
