many or too many

many or too many
Good morning.
I īd like to know the difference between " many , too many" , "few, too few".

6 Feb 2013

Many = a big number, a lot

Too many = more than required
Few = a small number, not many
Too few = Not enough, you need more
The elevator can carry 10 people. 11 people is too many.
I have a few eggs (4). I need 5 eggs for this recipe - 4 eggs is too few.
