Hi dear colleagues.

Have you ever heard the verbs "come" and "go" can �t be used with "to be going to" ?

That is absolutely not true. You can (and I do) use "going to" with come and with go. Examples: "Your party tonight? Of course I �m going to come!"
"I �m going to go exercising this afternoon."

Thanks. That �s what they explained in one of my grammar books. That �s a really complicated topic to teach and I didn �t want to confuse my students.
