Word of the day winner

And the winner of the WOD...is MarionG

This is one of these new words coined by the spiritual New Age movement, along attitudal healing and centering...
Tergiversation is a new, conscious form of conversing with those you are in some sort of conflict with. In an antagonistic state, the natural tendency of many is to dominate the conversation (stating, explaining, reiterating and rephrasing our point of view). Tergiversation is all about GIVING the other a change to lead the converSATION. By letting the other state, explain and reiterate their views one removes the tension since the other will feel s/he s being heard.

And the real meaning of the word:
tergiversation (n)

tergiversate
