Here are just two which I �ve seen here in France over the years:

In a hotel (for the telephone - going back a few years .......):

If there is no outside line, hang the receptionist. (Bit drastic, don �t you think!)

On a menu in a restaurant:

Fish soup with rush (ugh!!! Wouldn �t go for that!)

For those who don �t know "la rouille�it�s a special sauce you put in the fish soup, but rust has the same translation.
