When "will" is used for an offer, it �s an immediate, unplanned offer. This example in #2 seems to be an intention for the future, although it could be an unplanned offer of help.

I agree with this chart, except for the example of "It will rain tomorrow". We would only make this confident statement if we are sure it is going to happen, so we would say "It is going to rain tomorrow", because it �s a statement of fact, rather than a prediction.
 
You �re going to Disney World? Oh, you �ll have fun!
     This is a prediction, so "will" is the choice here.

I �d like to add, we can say "It will rain" if we add "I think" to it, so we �re expressing an opinion, "I think, it �ll rain today" but if we make a prediction based on the evidence, for example, clouds in the sky, then we say,"It �s going to rain"
We can also say will is used for on-the-spot decisions, for example, "I �ll buy this red T-shirt"
But anyway, this is not what the original poster was asking about...
She/he just wanted to classify the statements.
