I am preparing a lesson for pupils (14-15)and the topic is Music.I will work on the different musical genres and on the musical instruments too.I ll probably choose a song too.Do you have any other ideas or good sites to work on this theme?
Thank you for your help.

The British Council Website (www.learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en) always has some ideas or the bbc (www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish)

For some fun activities on the computer, I use www.lyricstraining.com - sort of a typing karaoke, where you fill in the blanks as you listen to the song (different levels available)

Hello. Peter and the Wolf is a great way to introduce children to the instruments of an orchestra. I ve downloaded it from the internet in 6 parts (Boston Symphony) but I don t quite remember from which site. If you would like I can email you the mp3s. Ed

Blame it on the boogie, Michael Jackson! Wink
(http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/jacksons/blameitontheboogie.html)

In this song, music is compared to a fever, a drug, magic, a devilish force, a fire, a trance.
I am sure your students will sing the song as they leave your classroom!
