Question 2 - For example:
Take a short story and make follow up questions to train past simple tense.
There is a very short story I have created for grammar practice - Past simple questions formation. It proved towork very well with my A2 ("better" beginner learners). Have a look at my worksheets. (just be careful with the last question)
or you can take any short story and turn it into a gap fill exercise (past simple tense or whatever!) :-)
I hope this is what you meant ...
