SAYING GOODBYE TO MY BACHILLERATO STUDENTS

Next week I m having my last ordinary lessons with my Bachillerato students.

The following week, they ll be taking their end -of- year exams at school since they are preparing to do the university entrance examinations in june.

I was wondering if there is a song that I can choose to tell them goodbye or wish them all the best in their future. They love using songs in the classroom and I d like to get them moved by the lyrics.

I work in a private educational centre and some of them have been here since nursery school.

Thanks for your suggestions. Everything you say is welcome!

Hello, Pilar. I have used the following songs to say goodbye to my students from 4th of ESO. The music and the lyrics are really beautiful, they say wonderful things to make them feel good and I can tell you, they loved them. I wish you like them, too.

Never alone by Lady Antebellum

My wish for you by Rascal Flatts

I think they will be moved by the lyrics.

Have a good Sunday. Greetings from Spain.

Hi! I really know what you mean... It s really the hardest part of being a teacher... Seeing them grow and fly solo...
I ve used a song that I really love:
Life Is Wonderful by Jason Mraz
 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7dGXBeTalY

I ve also used an inspiration video by Australian film director Baz Luhrmann called "Everybody s Free To Wear Sunscreen"

 I hope theyre useful.

I will be using some of your ideas with my different groups. Thanks for helping me out.

Ana, the video is certainly very inspirational. I think they will like it as well.
