Hey guys! I need some help! The thing is, that on June I have the "Music Day" in my school, and the music teacher asked me to sing a song in English with my kids of 5th grade. They know a little bit of English (they are just starting) and they are very good at learning. But I cant think about a song for them, I think it should be quite easy, but not too much, and also very very Fun! We want to give a good show to the school and they are so excited! If you can please give me ideas about songs and short shows!

Hello, Miss Mi�o!
In my opinion, a good song to prepare for this show is "Thank you for the music" by Abba... the lyrics aren�t difficult and I think it�s special for that celebration, or not?

The song I suggest is not exactly for the beginners, but it is fun: If I Had a Mlllion Dollars by the American country pop group Barenaked Ladies... there are two spoken parts but you can omit them ok? Another suggestion is the 70s pop song from the movie Grease "Summer Nights". Students may sing and dance wearing suitable outfits from the 50s!. The fun is guaranteed! |

"Hello Goodbye" by the Beatles is very easy and a lot of fun, and it allows you to use the opportunity to review opposites with your beginner class...
Another great but very simple song is "all together now" again by the Beatles.
Both songs sound great, give fantastic energy and are ridiculously easy qua lyrics.. |
