Button Up Your Overcoat by Ruth Etting
Words and music by DeSylva, Brown, and Henderson

Listen, big boy,
Now that Ive got you made,
Goodness, but Im afraid,
Somethings going to happen to you;
Listen, big boy,
Youve got me hooked, and how,
I would die if I should lose you now!

Button up your overcoat,
When the wind is free,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!

Oh, eat an apple every day,
Get to bed by three,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!

Be careful crossing streets, ooh-ooh,
Dont eat meats, ooh-ooh,
Cut out sweets, ooh-ooh,
Youll get a pain and ruin your tum-tum!

Keep away from bootleg hooch
When youre on a spree,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!

Dont step on hornets tails, ooh-ooh!
Or on nails, ooh-ooh!
Or third rails, ooh-ooh!
Youll get a pain and ruin your tum-tum!

Oh, button up your overcoat,
When the wind is free,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!

Oh, wear your flannel underwear,
When you climb a tree,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!

Steer clear of frozen ponds, ooh-ooh,
Peroxide blondes, ooh-ooh,
Stocks and bonds, ooh-ooh,
Youll get a pain, ruin your bankroll!

Keep the spoon out of your cup,
When youre drinking tea,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!

"Hey! You! Get off of My Cloud" By the Rolling Stones.

http://youtu.be/YlhPRuAve8k

GET OFF OF MY CLOUD (M. Jagger/K. Richards)

I live in an apartment on the ninety-ninth floor of my block And I sit at home looking out the window imagining the world has stopped Then in flies a guy whos all dressed up like a Union Jack And says, Ive won five pounds if I have his kind of detergent pack

I said, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Dont hang around cause twos a crowd n my cloud, baby

The telephone is ringing I say, "Hi, its me. Who is it there on the line?" A voice says, "Hi, hello, how are you, well, I guess Im doin fine" He says, "Its three a.m., theres too much noise dont you people ever wanna go to bed? Just cause you feel so good, do you have to drive me out of my head?"

I said, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Dont hang around cause twos a crowd On my cloud baby

I was sick and tired, fed up with this and decided to take a drive downtown It was so very quiet and peaceful there was nobody, not a soul around I laid myself out, I was so tired and I started to dream In the morning the parking tickets were just like a flag stuck on my window screen

I said, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Dont hang around cause twos a crowd On my cloud

Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Hey! You! Get off of my cloud Dont hang around, baby, twos a crowd
