Dear all, I know this is a bit off topic (OK, a lot) but I thought some of you might be able to give ideas..
I am on holiday in the US at the moment. After visiting family we are now traveling around. At the moment we are in Cape Cod and tomorrow we hope to move towards New York. I would love to hear some suggestions as to what to do there. I am traveling with my musician husband and two kids. They may be teenagers but they prefer a good thrift shop over a huge mall anytime. Any (low budget) suggestions are welcome. If you have any suggestions please send me a PM (I only have internet at the motels we stay in so I might miss responses on the forum...all suggestions are appreciated!! |

I haven �t lived in New York for years but I used to like Greenwich Village a lot. There are lots of unusual shops, book shops, etc. Around NYU there are a lot of used book shops. (Were? I assume they �re still there?) The Natural History Museum is a must! That �s where they filmed "Night at the Museum". |
