Need help :English native speakers teaching French

Hi!

I have tried to explain my English friends how to use relative pronouns in French(qui/que/quoi/dont/o/lequel) and it is quite difficult for them to understand the rules. If you teach French to English pupils, could you tell me how to explain the relatives  in a very simple way?I think my explanations are too complicated.Have you got ideas, games or good links that could help me?

Thank you
