Dear friends.I really need your help.I have to make a lesson plan for two 40 min.lessons for a story "The Country mouse and the Town mouse".I only have the story on a CD.And that�s it.No activities,no nothing.I�ve been searching the net and found nothing.My students are third grade but I can�t use group work �couse they are too many(34).Can you please help?There is a story book with the two stories included in our books(express publishing Set sail2)BUT they are not available in my country.Has any of you ever came up to it ,can you tell me what are they about?Please help help help!Thanks in advance.Desperate Snowhite.

Hey, Toshe-fan!
You can try TeachingEnglishGames.com Shelly has some stories for children and one of them is free (Hetty the Lion). You might want to read her instructions there and get some ideas as to how to handle your class, though she teaches children younger than your students. But might be worth a try. If i think of sth, i�ll send you a message.

I guess there is Town and Country vocabulary on the CD so why not present it first and then do the listening activity where the students will have to listen for the new words. Every time they hear a Town word, they should make a kissing sound, and for Country words they could clap or do sth sillier than that.
That�s for starters.
If it�s possible, scramble the text of the story (or the key sentences) for the SS to unscramble after listening.

It�s hard to give you advice when we (I) don�t know how the story actually goes.
