i have a question
When can i say
a small person and a young person
what is the difference in using young and small ?

Heya,
a small person is someone who is physically small, that means that the person is short. Could also mean that the person is slim.
A young person is used in connection with age. As oppossed to old. But it depends who you see as young, for example if you are 50 years old, someone who is 30 can be young, but if you�re 18 years old, you wouldn�t consider someone who is 30 as young :-) At least my students don�t :-)

small can be in size and age too...
This what i found in my dictionary
(SMALL) being a very young child that is older than a baby: Looking after small children can be very tiring.
(SMALL) limited in size or amount when compared with what is typical or average
(Small) not important or effective: Talking to her makes me feel small. He�s always trying to make me look small in front of my boss.
